Flash Player is a free computer program developed by Adobe that allows you to view streaming, Flash-based audio and video content in your Web browser. If you don't have Flash Player installed on your machine, sites like YouTube or Metacafe that stream videos will not be able to load content properly. If you want to load Flash Player onto your computer, you can use Adobe's website to do so completely free of charge.

Open your Web browser.

Go to Adobe's "Get Flash Player" website (see Resources).

Click "Download Now" to save the Adobe Flash Player installation file from the Internet to your computer.

Double-click the Adobe Flash Player installation file. Click "Next" to load Flash Player onto your computer.
